Zuni Street Brewing

Zuni Street Brewing

You guessed it, another brewery in Denver! Zuni Street Brewing Company has eight beers on tap (I had their pale ale, IPA, porter and quad).

Zuni Street IPA sits at 7.7% ABV and 45 IBU’s. It’s an unfiltered, slightly hoppy IPA with citrus and tropical notes. Midnight, what!? is a dark Belgian abbey brewed with wheat at ABV: 6.3% and IBU: 18. Notes of chai tea spice and clove and ginger aromas.

Their Portly Porter totally hit the spot with flavors of chocolate brownies and coffee. It’s a nice dry porter at 5.6%  ABV and 12 IBU.

Lastly, I had their Sit’n Rock Ale, a lightly hopped American pale ale brewed with wheat. It’s smooth, with a little bit of citrus aroma and bready flavors 5.9% ABV and 28 IBU’s, not my favorite (not a fan of wheat in my beer), but drinkable.

Zuni focuses on German, Belgian, and American style beers. They’re dog-friendly, which recent city laws have prevented a lot of breweries from allowing four-legged friends in breweries. They have north and south facing patios and host different food trucks out front every day.
